Safesprouts Hourly Rates:

These are our base rates which are paid directly to the sitter. 

​

• Base Rate:

  • $16 per hour for one child

  • $18  per hour for two-three children

  • $20+ per hour for four+ children​

​

• Experienced Sitters (Multiple Certifications, Degrees, etc.)

  • $18 per hour for one child

  • $20  per hour for two-three children

  • $22+ per hour for four+ children

​

• Jobs of 2 hours or less will be charged a flat fee of $40 (for 1-2 children. additional $5 for each child)

• Sproutshare Rates: 10% off all hourly rates. (Minimum hourly pay of $15 applies to support a living wage for all of our providers)​​

Premium Add-Ons:

• Overnight Infant Care (under 1 year): +$2 per hour

• Major Holiday: +$2 per hour

• Travel Fee: Flat fee or mileage fee, based on distance outside of our service areas.

Paying your sitter: You and your provider may discuss methods of payment, however they must be instant (cash, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, etc) and no checks or bank wires or transfers are allowed.

Sitter Requests and Other Fees
 

How it works:

The request fee is paid upfront at the time of request via the request form in your portal. If you need to sign up or want to become a member click here.

The hourly rate is paid directly to the sitter or tutor immediately upon completion of services (cash, venmo, cashapp, etc.)

Once you place your request, we match you with a sitter based on your criteria!

One-Time Sitter Request (Babysitter or Tutor)

​

Non-Member Pricing:

Request Fee: A non-refundable placement fee of $20 is due at the time of your request.

Member Pricing:

Request Fee: A reduced non-refundable placement fee of
Member and VIP- $16
Elite and Platinum- $14

discounted rate is due at the time of your request.

Rush Request (less than 48 hours notice)

$10 Rush fee added on to your request rate. 

​

Rush Placement Guarantee: If we can't find a placement within 8 hours of your date, you'll get your money back!

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee of the total hourly rate for the hours booked.

No-shows or cancellations made within 6 hours will incur the full hourly charge.

Nanny Placement (Long-Term Placement)

A free consultation is required.

A non-refundable engagement fee is charged to find a nanny.

Hourly Rates depend upon job description and Nanny qualifications:

1-2 Children: $18-$22+/hour

2-3 Children: $19-$23+/hr

3+ Children: $22-$24/hr+

Overnight Infant Care +$2/hr

We offer add-ons such as benefit/pay negotiation and contracts.

​

Payment Terms:

Engagement fee due after your free consultation, prior to Nanny search beginning.

The hourly rate is paid directly to the nanny per contracted agreement terms.

Tutor Rates:

$30/half hour

Event Services (Babysitting for Events or Parties)

Free Consultation Requrired.

​

Placement Fee: A non-refundable placement fee is charged for event-based services based on consultation.

​

The hourly rate is paid directly to the agency.

​

Additional Fees:

Extended Hours: If the event runs longer than expected, overtime fees per hour will apply.

Event Prep: Additional charges may apply for event preparations.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event incur a 50% charge.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event incur the full charge.

 

Other Policies

Membership:

Members enjoy discounts on all placement fees (typically 10-20% off) as well as priority access to available sitters, nannies, and tutors.

Members are required to provide a current payment method for recurring charges at all times.

Payment Methods:
All placement fees are paid via the request form. Providers are paid directly for services after each session.

Background Checks:
All providers undergo background checks and are interviewed thoroughly.

Refunds:
Placement fees are non-refundable once services are requested or matching begins. Only RUSH fees are refundable, only in the event that there was no placement available.

Provider Expectations:
Providers must follow the agreed-upon hourly rates, fees, and follow company and family guidelines for service.
